With my very first experience of Tai Chi Chuan 30 years ago, I quickly developed a deep love affair with the practice. I was enthralled by the fluidity and gracefulness of the movements, and I was deeply moved by the centering and peacefulness of the discipline. As my personal practice in both Tai Chi and Qigong developed, I found not only a way to keep my body supple and strong, but a technique to prevent stress, increase clarity, and hold a more relaxed approach to life.
As I studied, I began to understand and feel how the energies move through the body, and how profoundly we can affect our daily lives with this simple yet deep practice. I experience an internal shift in consciousness that allows me to sit at the very center of my being.
I love teaching as it gives me an opportunity to share my passion, and to see the results of the practice in others. I utilize movement practice in my coaching as a way of reducing stress and releasing trauma stored in the body.
