Hi there! I'm Kris Moon. As a Korean adoptee, I believe in the power of yoga as a way to reunite & heal. I’m in awe at the intersection of science & spirituality, and I love exploring what it means to be a human being. I teach what I’ve ‘me’ searched, self testing what’s been researched, and offer you the mind/body practices I’ve found to be most helpful.
Advanced trainings in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Ayurveda, Tantric Vinyasa, Yoga Philosophy, Vipassana Meditation, Mindfulness-Based Stress-Reduction, Compassionate Communication and Iyengar-based Therapeutic Yoga over the past decade help inform my teachings. Still, the most influential training I receive is when I apply what I've learned to my relationships. I agree with the many masters who remind us that if you really want to know how much you've grown, how much you've evolved on this spiritual path, then take a look at your relationships.
Remembering that we are all in this together, community and access are at the heart of who I am as a teacher. Through the use of invitational language, props and modifications, I aim to create a learning environment where each is loved, seen and honored just as they are.
All are welcome to join me on Monday evenings for a very relaxing yoga class that meets once a month—dates are listed on the schedule. If you feel called to practice with me, the more the merrier!
Please feel free to connect with me at email@example.com with any questions you may have about creating or deepening your personal practice.
