Yoga, for me, has always been a deeply personal practice. I started practicing Hatha yoga at my hometown's community college when I needed one more credit. Before that, the only physical activity I really enjoyed was walking around the woods for hours. But my first yoga teacher, Judy Blankenship, introduced me to this tool that has carried me throughout life since.

Yoga at its core is a method to acquaint you with yourself. The true you that lives at the center of us all, who knows how we want to move and nourish ourselves, is our intuition, our most important teacher.

For the last decade, most of my yoga time has been in the privacy of my room where I roll out my magic carpet (yoga mat) and find my center before I go on with my day. Beyond that, it has become the way I look at my life and the circumstances that shape me and my relationships. The practice aims to create a union between body, mind, and spirit. As well as the individual self with universal consciousness.

I have come to enjoy many styles of movement and yoga. Most importantly, Kundalini, dancing, HIIT yoga, and vinyasa flow. In 2023 I complete my 200-hour Kundalini yoga training with my beloved teacher of 10 years, Sierra Hollister. My hope is that I can help others to find their truth, a moment of stillness, aliveness in their body, or just the joy of moving together.
