Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a state of conscious deep sleep. During this class, after a short series of gentle physical asana movements, practitioners will lie down with plenty of cushions, blankets, and perhaps eye coverings to enable the body to remain comfortably still for about 30-45 minutes. We will then begin to relax and move beyond the waking state, go past the dreaming state, and go to deep sleep, yet remain awake and completely aware. In this highly regenerative meditative state, practitioners can rejuvenate, heal, and even re-wire the brain for greater mental and emotional balance.
